Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Lunch AI.

1. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

Words with capitalized initials have specific meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

Affiliate: Any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party.
App: Refers to Lunch AI, the iOS application available via the Apple App Store.
Company (also "We", "Us", or "Our"): Lunch AI LLC, based in Singapore.
Device: Any device that can access the Service, such as a smartphone or tablet.
Service: Refers to the Lunch AI app and related services provided by the Company.
Terms: These Terms and Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement between You and the Company.
Third-party Services: Any services or content provided by third parties that may be used within or integrated into the Service.
Website: Refers to https://www.lunchai.app
You: The user of the Service, whether an individual or legal entity.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lunch AI, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You disagree with any part, You may not access the Service.

There is no minimum age requirement for using the Service, but we encourage parental supervision for younger users.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Lunch AI offers two paid subscription options:

$8/month (monthly)
$25/year (annual)

All purchases are final and non-refundable, including partial periods of use.

Payments are processed via the Apple App Store, and your use is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions.

4. Privacy and Data

By using Lunch AI, You consent to the collection and use of your data, including but not limited to: photos, device identifiers, and usage information.

We do not yet maintain a separate Privacy Policy. If You are concerned about how your data is handled, we recommend not using the Service until our Privacy Policy is available.

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate or interact with services such as:

Apple (App Store, iCloud, etc.)
OpenAI (used for visual and nutritional analysis)

These third-party providers are subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and the Company is not responsible for their actions or failures.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate Your access at any time without notice if You breach these Terms. Upon termination, You must stop using the Service immediately.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lunch AI LLC and its suppliers are not liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, business, or personal health outcomes
Service outages or delays

Our total liability will not exceed the amount You paid for the Service in the past 12 months, or $100 USD, whichever is lower.

8. "AS IS" Disclaimer

Lunch AI is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

100% accuracy in calorie or macro estimations
Continuous or error-free service
Compatibility with all devices or systems

You use the Service at your own risk, especially when using calorie estimates for health or dietary decisions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You may also be subject to additional local laws depending on your jurisdiction.

10. Disputes

If You have any dispute with Us, You agree to attempt to resolve it informally by contacting Us first at support@lunchai.app (or via in-app support, if available).

11. Severability and Waiver

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will still apply. Our failure to enforce any part does not waive our right to do so later.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. If the changes are material, we will attempt to provide advance notice (e.g., via app update notes or website notice). Continued use of the Service after changes means You accept the updated Terms.
